Meet the Officers!

David Collison, Chairman

For most of his "voting life" he has been a registered independent, and was not involved in any political party prior to 2001. In 2001, he joined the Reform Party of Texas and quickly became County Chairman of the Harris County Reform Party. He has served as National Committee Member (2001-2002), National Convention Delegate (2002, 2003, and 2004), and National Secretary (2002-2004).

David was originally born in Arkansas, but has since lived in New Orleans, Louisiana and Houston (Kingwood), Texas. He has a Bachelors Degree in Mechanical Engineering and works for a training and documentation development consulting firm. He is married to a lovely lady named Sandra, who recently graduated from law school.

David describes his political ideology as primarily "Centrist", and joined the Reform Party because of the Principles of Reform, not because of any candidate or political figure's ideology. He believes the key to a successful Reform Party is local organizing and candidates, and remains active in his local party organization. He currently participates on the County and State levels of the Reform Party.

Vice-Chairman - Vacant -

Michael Giese, Secretary

Michael Giese has been active in the Reform Party and Independence Party movements since the early 1990s.  He is one of our most active members.  Michael serves in the Army National Guard and is a Teacher.  He served as a National Convention Delegate in 2004.

Lynne Perdue, Treasurer

Lynne Perdue is a long-time independent voter. She became Secretary-Treasurer in 2002 and then retained the post of Treasurer after that role was split between the two responsibilities.

Lynne was born a military brat in Germany, and has since lived in Arkansas, Louisiana, Florida, and Illinois. Lynne works for a training and documentation development consulting firm.

Lynne's political ideology could be readily described as "disgusted with the status quo".

Honorable Mention

Dick Paseman, Former Chairman and Vice-Chairman

Dick Paseman is a long-term member of the Reform Party and has held various County posts since the mid-90s.  He is currently Precinct Chairman for his Precinct.

Bob Marcum, Former Chairman and Secretary

Bob Marcum is a long-term member of the Reform Party and has held various County, State, and National posts since the mid-90s.  Bob served as a National Convention Delegate in 2002.  Having been active for so many years, he has expressed a desire to resign his position in favor of a potential newer member.

Michael Mravetz, Former Vice-Chairman

Michael Mravetz is a relative newcomer to the Reform Party.  He recently completed a Bachelor's Degree in Economics and served in the Air National Guard.  Michael recently relocated to another part of Texas where he hopes to start teaching.

We were sad to lose him as a local activist but look forward to working with him on state activities.
